The magician shows a flat, diamond-shaped frame. He opens it to show that there is nothing inside. After placing a small object inside, such as a silk handkerchief, he closes the frame again. He makes a magical gesture, opens the frame once more, and as if by magic, a dove, a bouquet of flowers, or another object that was not there before appears.
