The Effect:
The performer holds a large light bulb. With no wires or batteries connected, it glows brightly at your command. After it fades, while the audience may suspect hidden batteries or a secret power source, you unscrew the base to reveal that there is no filament inside. Instead, it is filled with candy, a gift, or a spectator’s item. You can hand everything out for examination.
