You take your deck of cards out of your pocket and invite your spectator to choose one. Let's say the chosen card is the 7. The card is placed prominently on the table, in front of everyone! Offer your spectators a glimpse of the highlight of the show! Everyone is naturally attentive, and for good reason! Then, take a 7 cm long nail out of your pocket! And say: "That's the highlight of the show!"
Now, let's get down to business, you say! Take the spectator's card, the 7, in one hand, and the nail in the other... Without any hesitation, you drive the 7 cm nail right through the spectator's card! The nail goes
right through! Illusion or not? Show the card front and back to your spectators... there will be no doubt!
