Imagine a mini portable washing machine that cleans your clothes instantly! But you’d better read the instructions first, or things could go wrong! Inspired by the classic Soft Soap trick, created in 1942 by Dr. Howard B. Kayton, George Iglesias has completely reinvented this magic effect, changing not only the story, the props, and the plot, but also the method: a brand‑new and very clever system that will leave everyone wondering. A fun and impactful routine for children, full of magic, entertainment, and lots of laughter!

Effect:  
The magician says he has just bought a portable washing machine online. He then shows a few items of clothing to wash: a red tie, a stained yellow tie, and a white glove. He puts the red sock inside and then tries to read the instructions, but they’re printed in another language. He attempts to figure out how to make it work on his own. He asks a child to press the start button; as soon as they do, the washing machine and the magician begin to shake until they stop. When the magician pulls out the red sock, he discovers it’s clean, but wait… the sock is full of holes! Oh no!

Not discouraged, he continues and puts the yellow tie inside. A child presses the button again and the washing machine starts working. However, when he takes the tie out… it has shrunk! Oh no, again!

Finally, he puts the white glove inside and presses the button one last time. This time, the glove comes out very clean, but when he pulls it from the box, the children burst into laughter: they realize the glove has stretched and become super, super long!

At the end of the trick, all three items can be thoroughly examined and, to everyone’s surprise, the magician opens the box and shows it completely empty inside!
